Open Water Training Camp: Lampedusa is part of the Pelagie island, which in ancient Greek means “open waters” and that is exactly where we are going and what we will be doing: swimming in the open water! The Swim Camp will take place on this Sicilian island, which is one of the most popular touristic attraction for people who want to enjoy nature, the sun, beautiful beaches and blue waters. During this camp, athletes will have the opportunity to swim both close to the coast and beaches, as well as experience true open water swimming. Boat excursions will be organized to see the entire coast of the island, which is not accessible by land. All the incredible natural landscapes that this island offers will be explored during your stay. During the camp athletes will be able to train with highly skilled open water coaches twice a day and their support crew and family will be able to come along and enjoy their time on the beach or on the boat. Family and friends that come to support and not to swim will be equally considered in the camp and always encourage to come along and be part of the Swimming Travel Lampedusa Team.
