THE EVENT
An unique experience and opportunity to swim from Sicily to Calabria in Italy. Swimming Travel has been organizing this crossing for more than 10 years now, and is proud to offer you the opportunity to swim the incredibly blue and deep waters of the Messina Strait, where the myths of Scilla and Carriddi still live today. The Messina Strait Crossing is a must for every passionate open water swimmer and the good thing is that you don't need to be an advanced swimmer to be able to complete it. The entire event is supervised by the maritime local authorities; they will make sure the safest possible conditions are provided for you to swim.
THE OFFER
By pre-registering for the 2024 event, you will have access to the following benefits:
- Place for the 2024 event blocked and insured with the payment of €70.00.
- Get a preview of the 2024 dates to be able to comfortably choose the right period for you.
Prices for the 2024 crossings will be approximately: €220 (May-June), €260 (July) and €250 (August-September). The organization reserves the right to revise prices.

REGISTRATION METHODS
STEP 1 Fill in the pre-accession form.
STEP 2 Make a payment of €70.00 per person directly online through the Stripe platform or by making a bank transfer to the bank details in the form *.
STEP 3 Keep the code that will be sent by email following pre-admission confirmation. The code will give you access to registrations for the crossing 15 days before opening to the public, allowing you to choose the most suitable date for you.
